Internet Librarian International

23LibrariansAfter 23 Librarians published its first post, I was delighted to be approached by Caroline Milner and asked to be a blog partner with ILI – you can see the logo above displayed on their sidebar, and it’s in some illustrious company. I hope this means that lots more people will find out about the wonderful things going on in Scottish Libraries.

Internet Librarian International is the innovation and technology conference for information professionals. The conference attracts hundreds of library and information professionals from around the world with an emphasis on case studies and the exchange of ideas and experience. The conference is still looking for speakers from all types of libraries – public, academic, government, national, or commercial, and those working outside a traditional library setting. The focus this year is “positive change: creating real impact” – Scotland can do that! The deadline is 11th April, so if anyone is interested, please visit ILI’s Call for Speakers page. ILI is at the Olympia Conference Centre in London in October – 20th for workshops and 21st / 22nd for the conference and sponsor showcase.
