Are you going to Internet Librarian International next month? If so, you might be interested to know about the new X Track programme of hands-on, interactive activities which takes place in parallel with the main conference. These activities include an unconference run by the #uklibchat folk, sharing sessions (short, informal presentations with a chance to chat to the presenters) and “Borrow an expert”, a unique opportunity for a one-to-one meeting with a library and information specialist. Experts include Phil Bradley and Donna Saxby, and you need to register to make a booking – everything else is run on a drop-in basis.
These sound like great ideas and reflect the sort of peer-to-peer CPD this blog is aiming at too, If anyone does attend X Track, or any other part of ILI, it would be great to have a write-up here. Just get in touch!
